Label Run Tell Secrecy sends his disciples to spread the gospel of dark melancholy and breathtaking tunes. The otherworldly hip hop of Jan Lemmens Marshal aka Glints, settles as a salvific message in the shelters of everyone's brain.
Live assisted by guitarist / co-founder Mathias Bervoets, and Soldier's Heart members Ferre Marnef (bass) and Benjamin Cools (drums), Glints brings explosive minimalist electronics with poetic lyrics in a flawless British accent. Poetic hip-hop reminiscent of an early A$AP Rocky.
Lefto, blogs like Disco Naïveté, the Human Human community, Belgian radio stations such as Studio Brussel all agreed. Glints is on the rise. The Red Bull Elektropedia Award for 'Most Promising Artist', shows in AB and an aftershow for Years & Years ensured that these boys did not miss their start.
Glints will shine in small bright flashes.
The new marching orders are in, and young boy wonder Glints is ahead of the pack with a mile." (Disco Naïveté)
FACES ON TV
Faces on TV, is also a band that just cannot stay under the radar. Both newspapers De Morgen and De Standaard tipped them early this year as the revelation of 2016. Again everyone agrees.
The band brings tunes for those who feel that poppy and noisy go along quite well. For those who like it thin and sensual, tender but still a little rough. Or in short: for you!
Frontman Jasper Maekelberg is not only a gifted singer / songwriter. He worked as a producer / mixer already on the sound of Bazart, Gabriel Rios, Jef Neve, Nordmann and Trixie Whitley, among others.
Their first single 'Run Against The Stream' was eagerly picked up by Studio Brussel and Radio 1 and their latest song 'Love / Dead' penetrated the hit chart ‘De Afrekening’. These recognitions gave the band gigs in music temples such as Trix, Vooruit, Muziekodroom and STUK.
We eagerly expect a third single and the release of the debut EP later on this year.

NO COMFORTS – NO ZONES
Due to the construction work currently being undertaken, KultuurKaffee has opted for a nomadic existence and, together with a guest curator, assembles twice a year a multidisciplinary programme of events at various locations dotted around the city of Brussels. Spring 2016 musician Johannes Verschaeve pushes his festival guests (along with himself) out of their comfort zone(s) and invites them at The Brussels Art Institute of Belgian artist Jan De Cock (BAI_) for a surprising six weeks.
